Since 1982, Sue Hill Dance has empowered dancers of all ages through high-quality dance education and performing arts training. Based in Radstock, with classes in West Harptree and Berlin, Germany, we offer expert instruction in a supportive, high-energy environment.

Our qualified, professional teachers focus on building technique, confidence, and creativity, while encouraging lasting friendships and personal growth — from baby ballet to pre-professional training.

Graduates have gone on to elite schools and global careers, including Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones) and West End star Maddie Grace Jepson.

Leader In Inclusive Dance, Performing Arts Education & Vocational Training

With over 40 years of experience in dance, fitness, and performing arts education, Sue Hill is a nationally recognised dance educator and pioneer in inclusive dance based in Bath, UK. She has dedicated her career to using dance for health, well-being, and personal development.

Pioneering Dance For Health, Fitness & Well Being

Sue became a prominent figure in the 1980s dance fitness movement. She played a key role in shaping national fitness training and safety standards through her involvement with FitPro.

Her innovative approach led to a collaboration with the Royal Osteoporosis Society, where she developed and delivered one of the UK’s first elderly dance programs in care homes, helping seniors improve mobility, balance, and confidence through therapeutic dance.

Champion Of Inclusive Dance & Diversity In The Arts

Returning to university in her 40s, Sue earned a First-Class Honours Degree in Dance and Education, specialising in inclusive dance for under represented communities. Her academic work has focused on increasing diversity, accessibility, and inclusion in dance education, ensuring that everyone – regardless of age, ability, or background – can access the benefits of dance.

Founder Of One Of Bath's Longest Running Independent Dance Schools

Sue is the founder of one of Bath’s most established independent dance schools, where she has taught thousands of students, directed countless productions, and created a lasting, multigenerational dance community. Many of her former students now bring their own children – and even grandchildren – back to train under her guidance.

BDC Bath Dance College - A Leading Dance College In The South West

Together with her son, George Hill, Sue co-leads BDC Bath Dance College—a top destination for vocational dance training in the South West of England. The college offers:
